My name is Jolene Loveridge.  I live in rural Manawatu.  I have 20 years of teaching experience in both large and rural schools. I love sharing my passion with fellow educators for maths in many areas; pedagogy, how children learn and neurodiverse learners.  I am currently working towards my Post-grad in Mathematics Education through Massey University.

Catherine Huxford

Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty

Ngā mihi ki a koutou.

I have taught for 15 years in rural and city schools across New Zealand's North Island. I am passionate about making maths accessible to all learners. This passion has driven me to study towards a Master’s in Education and to gain expertise in teacher actions that promote deep mathematical thinking and foundational concepts in mathematics.

My specialisations include the CPA approach, creating a supportive class environment and formative assessment. I am an experienced PLD provider in the effective use of structured materials to support students' understanding and confidence in mathematics.

Trish Bunting

Canterbury, Otago

I have 30 years teaching experience from years 0-6 in both large and rural schools. I am passionate about effective evidence based mathematics approaches that have a clear scope and sequence that guides and supports teachers in the classroom. I aim to make maths successful for each and every learner by ensuring concepts are explicitly taught and layered to build knowledge in a meaningful context.

Janette Davidson

Waikato, Bay of Plenty

I have 25 years in the education sector including 12 years as a Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour, and a master's degree in neurodiverse learners and their specific learning styles.  This has equipped me to support teachers in delivering impactful classroom instruction. I am dedicated to making mathematics accessible and successful for every learner with a focus on effective, evidence-based strategies and the implementation of structured tools, including the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) approach.
